I am annoyed by the new battle system, "press X, choose attack, magic, item" then sit back and relax and watch your character and your 2 AI controlled characters win the fight.. totally stupid!
if you then wanna controll all 3 characters.. "press X, scroll (using the digital controllers buttons) to the character you wanna give a command, chooce, press X bla bla bla" then sit back and watch the characters do the same **** over and over and over again in the fight til you press X and switch command or they win/loose the fight
the demo is more or less played like that.. NOT fun!
well.. I don't know.. some will like it I guess.. but it feels like its made more for online gaminag than offline.. and that is what makes me kinda annoyed! this is an offline FF soooo..

well it had its moments.. BUT FF8 had a crappy battle system!!!!!!! I played it thru becuase I loved Rinoa *yummy* and the story was really good too.. it was those two things that kept me going..
Battle wise.. that isa good name for FFXII actually..
well.. I only write my my own view on the battle system in the demo.. it was boring as hell ... I felt like I didn't really did much in the battles.. more watching and just see so the characters was alive..which never EVER was a problem.. 'til I wanted to play Active battles controlling all three characters.. then it was a MAJOR problem keeping them alive *haha*
I will by it too no matter what happes, the voice in my head allready told me it will rock, besides i have to because that was the agreement when i sold my sould to square-enix hehe

Yeah, they do change alot between series, thats obvious. I haven't really noticed drastic changed to battle systems though. I mean they had the orbs, they change the summon magic and what-not... I don't know, people will still buy it though. Might not like it after they buy it but it will still be bought.
i think the Battle System looks really Aweful and spoils the game. But what do i know, i havnt played it so i will just have to wait and see when it comes out.
