Which final Fantasy wins the award for you?, heres the list:

Here's mine:

Gameplay: FFVII, fast and fun

Battle System: all the FFs with ATB

Characters: FFVI

Graphics: I can really decide, I mean they came out at different times....

Story/Plot: tie between FFVI and FFVII

Music/Audio: FFVI

FMVs: FFVII, FFIX

Setting: FFXII, it felt really epic

Ending: FFVI

Gameplay: [Final Fantasy XII

Battle System: Final Fantasy XII

Characters: Final Fantasy VI

Graphics: Final Fantasy XII

Story/Plot:Final Fantasy VI

Music/Audio:Final Fantasy IV

FMVs: Final Fantasy XII

Setting:Final Fantasy XII

Ending:Finalk Fantasy IV

Gameplay: Seems too vague. I don't know how to answer this.

Characters:FFVI had the most playable characters, and they each have their own individual story to fulfill...

Graphics:FFXIII has the best graphics, even though it hasn't been released yet...

Story/Plot:FFVII had the best story, hands down.

Music/Audio:FFX had the best music for me. VII follows a close second.

FMVs:X had the best looking.

Setting: XII had the biggest world, more to explore.

Ending: X had the best ending because it was sad, and you hoped that it wouldn't happen at the end, but it did.

For me,

Gameplay: Surely, to FFXII

Graphics: Yet again to FFXII

Sound: TO FFVI NO DOUBT!

Story: I would give a tie in between FFVI and FFVIII

Characters: FFVI, as it had a large cast and all were handled nicely.

FMV's: You kidding! FFVIII  is the real deal!

Battle System: FFXII as random battles are firstly gone and the system is easier in PLAY compared to the tedious FFX.

I would like to add two of my own!

Innovation: IN 2D : FFIV

IN 3D: FFXII

Overall the best game in series: For me! FFVI is the best 2D game, hands DOWN!

In 3D,ummm....:idea:  All from FFVII to FFXII EXCEPT FFIX and FFXI.

Characters: FFIX

Graphics: FFX

Story/Plot: FFIX

Music/Audio: FFVIII

FMVs: FFVIII/IX

Setting: FFIX

Graphics: FFX     FFIX has the best artstyle though

To sum it all up,  my favorite FF is FFIX because it's just plain awsome :o

 One thing should be made clear IMO. when comparing ff games, graphic quality, fmvs and such should NOT be included, it is an unfair match to compare such titles that were created in times when the tech. was not available and please believe me, when i say i gave all of these at least 5 mins of thought b4 deciding, i am NOT a fft fan boy. thats just how it came out lol.

Story/Plot:FF tactics..  nothing comes close, thats a fact

Setting: ff 8 and X

Well, can I just skip taking down that list and say that FF12 wins all of those categorys for me? Well, 12 is my fave and I love everything about it, despite what other ppl may say!

Tho I jes know FF13 and its small army of games that come with it are gonna blow me away!
