If you eventually want to play all of them, then start at the begining.

If you just want one, I would recomend 8. It was my favorite, but there are a lot of critic on it, just like any other game.

If you dip behind FFX, they all are pretty cheap so just get them all, lock yourself up for the next six months and play your little heart out.

After school lets out for me, I will be playing all the ones I have untill I kick its little disk butts and reading the New Jedi Order series. ^_^ Yup, what fun.

That's of course presuming he doesn't live in the UK/Europe. It was never released there and I now have to listen to everyone saying how good it is...I could always get a chipped machine though :x
