I give up! I can't do it!

This is the thing that I have given up on Finla Fantasy:

I give up in getting Tidus' Caldbolg! I can no longer tolerate the frustrations in beating that chocobo race at 0.00 time!

That mini-game is the most annoying mini-game EVER!

So, do you have some experiences to share wher eyou give up on Final Fantasy?

I understand the frustration. The whole thing is almost entirely dependent on the placement of the balloons. If you can get a bunch of balloons on the edges of the track and keep yourself from getting hit by any birds, only then do you have a chance at nailing 0.0 seconds.

And speaking of the lightning dodger game and the butterfly catching...those got on MY nerves, too! At least I'm not alone!

I never did it on MY game, but get this.  When it first came out a friend of mine had it and was getting mad at it.  So I was bragging that I could do it so he let me try.  I failed like 3 times then actually did it on his game.  My first time ever playing FFX.  I now suck at it though and can't seem to get better than like 18 or something if I remember right.  They should give you a choco-shotgun for those birds....

After all... I'm a human. Anyway, who knows? Maybe in the FAR future I will have the patience to do it. As for now, it always go to my nerves whenever I'm playing that Chocobo thing.

yeah it can be done but it will take forever. i have been trying for the last 4 years to beat that sidequest but i havent given up yet :)

and there arent much great sidequest in X-2 except the via infinito one.

a while back they made a cheat disk (not gameshark) for ffx it let you do a few

things has anyone bought that disk

well the only thing I can say, is if they made easy then the weapon wouldn't

be worth squat. besides ff games are never to be rushed lol

I copped out the easy way and bought a Pro Action Replay to make the clock go EXTRA SLOW!!! Every second only went by as .01 seconds, I just had to make sure my balloons were more than my birds so I still had to race her and win :D
The purists can say what they want, it's water off a duck's back. It still allowed me to get a powered up Caladbolg (along with all of the other UWs)! I just don't see the reason to get so frustrated that you start breaking things or make a sailor blush with your cussing.

i wish i can cheat it but i had the interbational ver which gamesharks doesnt work. oh well i guess everything must be done the hard way :)

sometimes it's more gratifying to beat a certain part of a game on your own.

but in cases where you are just plain stuck no matter what you do then I say

to hell with it get me the cheat codes

hey i heard if you use a turbo controller the game will sense it and will hit you continuesly non stop. i guess that makes it easier but i never tried it.
