In Advent Children....(Possible Spoilers)

Without contrary proof, I think they are married. Well, if I remember correctly, Tifa said something about trying to work with their family (Cloud, Tifa, Denzel and Marlene). I don't know. I haven't read the different FF&:AC articles like On the Way To A Smile so I'm not really familiar about the background of AC's plot.

I was just wondering. Advent children takes place 2 years after FF7 right? I think they're married but is denzel their son? (It cant be cuz he more than two years old. But if they were married for two years then would Tifa ummmm ........ be pregnent atleast :P) StalkingDeath

when ppl get married...a baby doesnt necesarily comes out after that, maybe they just didnt want to do each other yet!

well the setting and how cloud acts in the story convinces me that they are not married

Well I'm positive that they are far from being married. He still seems distant from Tifa to even be in a intimate relationship. As far as Denzel goes I don't know about that. Tifa seems to care about him an awful lot. I don't know if she adopted him because if she did Denzel would be living with Tifa and not at the ophanage. They obviously spent a lot of time there at the orphange, but I think they cared about Denzel like that because he and Marlene seemed to be best friends. They stuck together quite a bit at the start of the movie.

Denzel is their adopted son because his parents died when the plate fell.

You have to understand this. Denzel is a child who was from the upper plate of Midgar. His father was a man who was employeed by ShinRa. But his parents died when Sector 7 was destroyed. After finding himself alone and with Geostigma he ran across a motor-bike and a cell phone which had belong to Cloud. That's how Mr. Strife stumbled upon him. Now, the Seventh Heaven is a bar, but its built is setup like a orphanage(upstairs). Tifa and Cloud took care of the children who had been plagued with Geostigma. Also the pair ran a delivery surface.

What prevented Tifa from getting close to Cloud was the guilt he cared. And instead of helping Tifa with the children, he left her[and the others] to live in solitude at the Church where he felt comfort by what Aeris left behind. Yet, he still kept up with the delivery surface. Everyone has always wish for a love story between Tifa and Cloud; or believed in a love story between Aeris and Cloud. Truely, the trinity still continues between the 3 characters where Square Enix let's the players/viewers believe what they want. I've always thought that Cloud had feelings for both female characters.

Since Cloud is redeemed at the end of Advent Children(he still has a long way to go) and Aeris is in the past(but remembered); I think the relationship between Tifa and him that was there pre-Nibelheim incident will be revived. I wouldn't be surprise if they do get married sometime along the line. As far as Denzel goes, he's the future Cloud since Mr. Strife is his inspiration(the kid wants to join WRO). But if it ain't Cloud marrying Tifa, it'll be Johnny. lmao

This is one thing great about FF7. The story is quite complex which let gamers make/think their own theory of a particular part of the game. It is also one of the things that kept FF7 afloat on the RPG lists of many gamers even after almost 8 years of release.

Yeah but i've always had the feeling that the relationship between Cloud and Tifa has continued to be a friendship ever since Aeris stepped in. It was almost certain that Cloud looked more umm husbandly at Aeris than at Tifa

I'd agree with this. I remember when Cloud came back to Nibelheim and visited his mother. She asked him how is he doing, and if he's eating right. Cloud tells her that ShinRa takes care of him. She goes off on him, saying that he should learn how to cook, and that she was worried sick about him. Then after that she makes a reponse that describes several traits in a woman that Cloud should look for so he can settle down. These traits definitely match Aeris(still in a way, Tifa); but Cloud's mother makes it know that it should be someone older then him, which in fact Aeris is older then Cloud.

Honestly, the Gold Saucer date with Aeris is so much more personal. At the end of FFVII, Cloud makes the comment about the Promise Land and he believes he can meet Aeris there. Hell, in Advent Children he's living in the church. But like I said before, with him feeling forgiven perhaps he'll learn to apperciate the love that Tifa has for him. But Cloud has a long way to go too.

After the battle in the Forgetten City, when Cloud, Tifa, Reno and Rude are talking in the room, it shows a spilt-second view of Tifa's right arm on the bed with a ring on the 4th finger, do you think she's married to Cloud?PenguinPaladin

You have a pair of shape eyes.....:shock: I will rewatch it again to see this scene anyway.  Just curious, is it suppose for the ring to wear in the left head to show that a couple is married?
