I wouldn't buy a PSP for it, but it's worth a look.
Honestly, the real reason I bought a PSP was for the remake of Tactics.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
God of War: Chains of Olympus
As to CC having short playtime, the first MGS can be finished in less than 3 hours.
Dude in Portable Ops you spend 3 hours watching cut scenes. You can't finish it in 3 hours :|
Daxter ios anotehr great reason to get the PSP

He was talking about the first one on PS1 silly. :P
I have never played the original FF-VII, ive only played FF-X and i loved that one, ive watched advent children.
The Thing is; square never really said that they wouldnt do a remake so im hoping for that, and if there will be a remake i dont see the point in playing the original

For you I think Crisis Core would be a good purchase if you already own the system for other games. Like FFT: The War of the Lions, Patapon, WipeOut Pulse, Syphon Filter's Logan Shadow and Dark Mirror, etc.

Well I've got to tell you that the PSP isn't the greatest MP3 player. It's good, but don't expect too much from it, but the fact is. It does more than any other MP3 player out there. Games, downloads (everything), internet browser, camera support, PS3 connectivity, etc.[QUOTE="FreedomBYgaming"][QUOTE="Sony_FanBoy"][QUOTE="FreedomBYgaming"]I have never played the original FF-VII, ive only played FF-X and i loved that one, ive watched advent children.

Music's not the only audio feature the PSP has, you can also have RSS feeds downloaded to the PSP memory stick and listen to them through the Music section of the XMB.[QUOTE="Sony_FanBoy"][QUOTE="FreedomBYgaming"][QUOTE="Sony_FanBoy"][QUOTE="FreedomBYgaming"]I have never played the original FF-VII, ive only played FF-X and i loved that one, ive watched advent children.

It dopes play music. Quite well if you have headphones for it. IT also has an internet radio feature, which is epic win[QUOTE="FreedomBYgaming"][QUOTE="Sony_FanBoy"][QUOTE="FreedomBYgaming"][QUOTE="Sony_FanBoy"][QUOTE="FreedomBYgaming"]I have never played the original FF-VII, ive only played FF-X and i loved that one, ive watched advent children.

If I wanted to listen to the radio, i would turn on my stereo. Seeing as how you need a wi-fi connection, it's easier just to listen to the normal stereo.
I get kind of annoyed when people ask this question. They make it sound like after they play Crisis Core they would never use their PSP ever again. I mean no offense, but there are a ton of other great PSP games besides Crisis Core. Obviously Crisis Core is a great game and worth owning a PSP to play, but it's not like you would be JUST buying a PSP to play Crisis Core and then never use it again.KnightsofRound
Iknow, ill buy other games after CC ofcourse + i'm gonna use it 4 mp3
^*Ahem* MEtal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
The PSP also has MEtal Gear ACid 1 and 2, Valkyrie Profile, Final Fantasy Tactics, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, a couple of GTA games, Popolocrois. It just recently got a Silent Hill game that looks decent. It's a great system

OK, but still. I stand by what I said.
Popolocrois. Simplistic SRPG fun
And look into the Metal GEar Acid games. They have RPG like depth to their stories and gameplay. They involve aALOT of strategy.

Well, I guess I thought so since last week I bought me a psp with cc and FF1. So far i'm thinking that it was a good idea. I'm thinking about getting a couple of new games soon. I'm an RPG kinda person any ideas?lo_Reaper_ol
There is Jeanne D'Arc, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and you might want to buy Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. There is also Final Fantasy II.
Well it's not the only reason, but it's one of the BIG reasons why if you don't have a PSP until now, you should get one.
That's besides having Tekken Dark Resurrection and Portable, which personally are my other main reasons why I own this portable console.
i bought my psp for Tactics Crisis core and Disenia when that comes out. i also got some other games and im pretty happy with my system. Besides the fact that it broke on the 2nd week because of a factory malfunction with the screen that randomly made flashing lines go down the screen. but i wont bore you with that story. I dont think crisis core alone is good enough reason to buy a psp. even tho its a fun game not quite good enough motivation to get the system by itself.Jmah1337Yeah, the PSP had it's growing pains, but I'm glad they were worked out and that developers are starting to put forth the effort to make great games on the system.
