I say "NO" unless your a really rich person who is loaded with Wii points.

The normal game has only 3 hours of gameplay on it, you dont meet the majority of the cast of characters, barely no overworld control,
Lets say you have 1000 Wii points and you buy this game (800) you are left with 200 Wii points, right? Guess how much the extra packages are? 300 Points :x

I guess its good in a sence, because you can play up to 4 players (Without Wifi)

Hmmm well another question I should ask is should I buy the first one first? Say, for the DS?

If your those hardcore sorts of FF fan you WILL want it,but if your those who prefer graphics and stuff...well..hell to the no.Just get Final Fantasy VI or V on the GBA remake or Final Fantasy I and II on PSP remake..test them out and if you like them,Final Fantasy IV:After Years would be your cheese.

Well that was AFTER I played it... Before I finished it, I was enjoying it very much. But the ending killed all of it...

Duh. :P It's a sequel, knowledge of the first game would help.

And yes, FFIV DS is pure awesome. I've replayed it 4 or 5 times. :o

Hmmm, I just heard something about FFIV: The after years being split up into 9 different parts on WiiWare, and that you have to all buy seperately, which if this is true, I will no longer be getting The After years, I mean, come on Square-Enix! :x

Why do we need Wii points to get that game??? Why not just release it for DS, at least???

Well, Square-Enix were the ones that amde the After years, so it was probably their idea to split the game into 9 different parts.

*siiiigh*...I miss the old Square. :(

well, whatever the case, I no longer want to get FFIV: the after years, due to how ludicrus it is to have to purchase all 9 parts seperately! :|

And yeah, I meant Square-Soft. once they became Square-Enix, things started to really decline...

Ok so I think I can close this by saying that this game is not necessarily worth it if you don't wanna buy all 9 episodes. However, if you are a die-heart fan of Final Fantasy, especially IV (this being a direct sequel) then you might want to consider it. OK thank you all for putting in your input.
