..., but what kind of mod edo you like best to learn magic?

1. Buy it in Magic Shops

2. Unlock it in missions/quests

3. Learn it from Espers/summons

3. Materia

5. Learn it from equipment (weapon/armor/accessory)

6. Sphere Grid

7. Learn it by leveling up

8. Drawing it form enemies/draw points

Materia = magic and summon materia only... No command, independent and support ones.. We're only talking of magic here.

I'll go to unlocking it from mission or learn it by leveling up.

Higher level spells are quite expensive. I remember FF2... Holy costs 20,000 Gil a piece.

I like earning magic by leveling up. It has such a good feel to it when you learn something after leveling up. This is 1 of the reasons for my love of RPG's.

Please correct me if I messed anything up.

Magic shops I think are the easyest way to learn magic. (FF 1,2,3,5, L1-2)

Unlock it in missions and quest. I don't remember many games with this one. (FF 5, 7, and ? I know there where more.)

The Esper magic system. That was a interesting one. I think it was a good system. I like the stat boots they had with it. (FF6, could 12 use the same system or stick with tatics or tatics advance?)

Materia. I like this magic system. (FF7)

Learn it from equipment. A nice system. (FF9, 11, FFTA)

Sphere Grid. A nice system, but it can not replace the level system. (FF10)

Learn it by leveling up. Can't think of any that really use this system. I some what think of this as appart of Materia as it has different levels, but I can think of one. (FF 6 somewhat.)

How can I forget draw points. It is nice to powerup by using magic and putting them to your stats strangthing them, but what if you need to use them? (FF8 ) I hate it when it makes those Emoticons when you don't mean to use them.

8. Drawing it form enemies/draw points

You had to pay attention and search. You could spread out your magic if you wanted everyone to be able to heal anyone else. You were able to insure a safety net instead of having your healer die and being screwed. It also made it so your healer wasn't terribly weak like in other games. You could sort through magic, keep what you like and all.

I prefer Materia. I really didn't like draw points because you could only get a certain number of magic's and they would run out pretty quickly.
