I like the plot in the games. I can't enjoy an RPG without a good plot to move it along. Also, they can't dilly with the plot, either. I say that mostly due to FF5, which took so long to develop that I quit after I found the second crystal.
summons are what you need to tip the battle over its head when you are losing (unless it is FFVIII and GFs are the battle system)KnowledgeOrCred
summons/aeons are a rather common thing used in RPG's.. its not only FF.. but what I meant with my post was that no other game makes the movies with the summosn as ass kicking as Square.. its massive.. (and in some older FF a bit to long maybe.. haha) but its a thing that makes me love them! They are just so fun to watch
