Shooters or RPG

By RPG i mainly mean FF.

Well,most chavs(scumm of england) and scangers(scumm of ireland) prefer Sport and first person shooters but i dont no why but i fing FF games more enjoyable. Maybe cause im not a scanger or chav(obvisly not a chav as im irish) and i never want to be. I like to think thats that is what separates me from them besides from my acsent,intelligence and dislike of most sports.

I already know yous like FF or you would not be in this union but i just want to discuss! sorry for double post

yeah.  shooters aren't as fun when you are alone.

I like to play Unreal Tournament when I am angry....:P

The Unreal Tournament Series is like a deathmatch game. It has many weapons, many levels and many ways to die. My fav. weapon is the Sniper Rifle. *Gets enemy in sights* "Hello Head!" BANG! Announcer: HEADSHOT!!!!! "Good-bye Head!" :lol:

I'll have to go with RPGs because because i love the idea of customizing your charactes weapons, magic, summons etc. Plus you never reall have to finish them. I also love training and leveling up characters.

For me, I like RPGs. It takes me out of my world and puts me in one I'll never go to.....

I like RPGs more... i guess if i had to give reasons i would go with becuase of things like leveling and gaining experience. plus i love to get caught up in the story lines. buying/selling, mini-games stuff like that make me love rpgs..plus shooters get old fast to me were rpgs i can beat over and over again and still enjoy it italianstalianb

Good point. A RPG is like a book that you play through.....

Main reason I play games is for entertainment (duh) and I get this from either an interesting story or gameplay/game design. Shooters like HL or NOLF have this and I love them. Shooters like Doom, Quake or Serious Sam don't and I find them to get boring very fast.

FFs have a great story with interesting characters and good gameplay -> I love FF, I sometimes love FPS

I really think it is pointless to try and make comparisons. Its like comparing a newspaper to a novel. You can't choose cross-genre they have to much difference. I like both genres, while each have their glory games, they both have their faults. FPS has games like Killzone, Halo(2), and James Bond, while on the other hand RPG's have the massive brand of Final Fantasy. Now you tell me if you can compare Final Fantasy X to Halo 2....I think not.DaveGamer_05
