So I finished Final Fantasy XII...

...and I must say I'm somewhat disappointed.  I have little complaints on gameplay (except of the utterly useless summons) but my major concern was the story.  I think that it lacks some elements that are standard on a FF game.  There was little character development and there was not like that big ''mystery to unfold'' or grand plot twist.  After the ending I did not feel... fulfilled... I felt it was pretty bland...  And lastly, speaking of the ending, the last battles were a joke.  I even read somewhere that the recommended level to finish the game was 50 to make it ''doable''... all of my chars where in level 45 and I only used three of them and had like no problems at all...

phew, just needed to get that out of my system.  very likely that a similar thread has been done before but still, what do you guys think?  do you agree with me? lemme know :)

Yeah, I agree with that.  And it is really frustrating since the setting is so rich and it feels... wasted, unused...

Thats for sure, I'm on my way to getting the tournesol and wyrmhero blade now, (2 best swords in the game) And its taking a looooong time. But I should have them both by next week.

Also if you want a hard battle? try fighting Yazamat, the final hunt in XII. 50 million HP. Dont expect to beat him in under 3 hours if your < level 85.

Before you get the idea that XII is universally hated, it's my second favorite FF game ;)

But I understand where you're coming from. 

FF12 has some insane mega bosses if you need a challenge like the last esper Zodiark or Hell Wyrm, also try Yiazmat lvl 70 hes even hard even if your at lvl 90 and expect the battle to last more than 3 hours.Im stuck on Yiazmat right now

I like the fact that final bosses are easier. Just because I've already played the game for so long now I just want to end it and be happy.

And I think they made the bosses for FF XII easy was because a lot of people playing the series don't know how to use strategy, they're mostly just attack heal attack heal. Think of how they felt when the gambit system was introduced. :| lol
