Sometimes I feel FF12 is boring...

With all those battles... Ugh. I'm newar to getting my 1st esper already... Almost 20 hours now, and I haven't changed any of my initial equipment.

The battles are getting boring sometimes when all you have to do is stand there moving your leader. I think miss the random battles.

I miss the random fights too.  To be honest, people gotta get use to it for the random battle system might not appear in the future because more people want real time than random battle. 

I agree that it seems to bore me sometimes as well.  When your characters level increase to a higher level, all you have to do is to walk around and do nothing (just let your gambit do it for you).  Besides, there should be more mini games in FFXII, I love mini games :)

Anyway, optional mob hunts, optional bosses, and optional espers in FFXII are the some of the most challenge ones in FF series.  And thats the things that make me feel fun and excited about playing FFXII. 

I bet you will have fun fighting them :)

FG i cant reply to your messages right now my cell is broken. Anyway im in Jahara right now i dont know if im still very far away from the end but yeah the battles are getting boring now.

It can't possibly be more boring then the crappiness of random battles. I hate them. They suck to such a large degree.natiko

Well random battles are annoying when ur one hit away from Death :P but its really fun to pummel the enemies when u have the ultimate weapons and are fully powered up :DStalkingDeath

i really beg to differ! I love 'almost' everything about FF12. the system is very much similar to 11 plus 'gambit' is really the 'IN' system right now. the graphic is great. the opening movie is spectacular. i watch the ending like 6 times before finally decided to play. was busy showing it to the rest of my families and friends- how cool the graphic is. i'm working on my way to be part of SONY's or SQUARE's soon.

If that was a big problem fir you in the random battles, better prepare yourself for FF12... Enemies tend to gang up on your poor 3-member team. :P

' virus', 'death message' and 'wacko(? i made this up) are the 3 spells by the bad guys that I frickin hate! oh yeah...they love to gangbang you. esp. in secret passageways etc. when i first played this game, i died like 5 times.

The same thing will happen to you in FF12. So annoying. even if you have killed all the monsters in a particular area... Without leaving the said area, monsters will respawn after few minutes.

reading through all the replies here made me wonder

are there any other who speaks japanese besides me here? better yet..anyone in Japan? please introduce yourself..who knows, maybe somebody we can hang out in Akihabara staying up all night, queeing up outisde the store just waiting to get our hands on FF13..lol!

I'm a little bored so I picked this game, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness and I think it is cool.

I'll continue with FF12 once I get info on how toexactly get Gold Amulets.

Yeah i think we're lookin at not gettin it till at least september.

Square-Enix should do a combination of real-time battles,walking up to monster, and include random battles, kinda like sneak attacks.

Currently, I'm enjoying it again. :)

I'm gonna fight my 2nd Esper very soon. :)

Do you know if Addramelech is one of the ones you get in the storyline?

Grr... Then I gotta hunt him down when the game comes out.

He's my Zodiac (Since each esper is aligned with one, and he is the Capricorn one, and I am Capricorn.), so that kinda makes me want to see him in action.

If my memory serves me right, no. I think only Belias, Mateus, Famfrit, Chaos and Shumihaza can be acquired in th story. All others are optional.Fantasy_Gamer

The espers that come with the story line are Belias, Mateus, Famfrit, Shumihaza, and Hashalim.  Chaos is an optional espers... is kind of complicate to get this esper as well.  Sorry to correct the info FG :)
