Tell me this is not a Nu Mou!!! (FF12)

I've ben looking throughout the Final Fantasy XII world for traces of the Nu Mou race form FFTA. After some time I ended up to a conclusion that there are no Nu Mou's in the game.

However, some people told there are, actually, and most of them live in Bur-Omisace.

I went there to investigate and I saw these small ugly guys...

One of those so-called Nu Mous in FF12.

I refuse to be convinced that this is a Nu Mou. Come on! Nu Mou's in FFTA are cool and majestic creatures.

It's extremely obvious that is a Seeq, as far as I have seen.

Though it does look a little different...

And seeing Vaan there reminded me of a burning question... Is it possible to control people other than Vaan? You should know who I mean... :lol: Maybe...

No. Seeqs are bulky, taller and have fangs protruding from their lower teeth.

You can use other characters in the battle field by setting them as the leader of your party.

And I seriously thought it was a seeq... But don't blame me, it ain't out here yet.

Yes, it's possible to control other Party members depending on who the 'leader' is. I don't have the game yet, I just do a lot of research.

Interesting. If that really is a Nu Mou, I am dissapointed, because the Nu Mou were majestic, and intelligent, while these supposed ones look like weirdos and they look un-intelligent.

I agree with you but if you remember the drawings from FFTA Nu Mous looked kind of cartoony so it would be hard to translate it to a more realistic, 3D game.  Nu Mous were my favorite race from FFTA, but I think Square did the best they could making a 3D Nu Mou.
