I think it's going to be a little bit harder regardless of next-gen or not. We see videogame commericals all the time. As with the Final Fantasy VII commericals it had three advantage. For one 3-D animated movies were still new to the public. Number two, a new type of gamer was being born at that time. And three, videogame commercials were no where near as good as FFVII. Square Enix did great advertising in the United States, especially on TV.
I see only two games right now that could sell a lot of systems through a massive advertising campaign. One being Halo 3 for the Xbox 360 and the other being Metal Gear Solid 4.
heh heh. you can tell its an early version of the game on display in the video. theyve got 300 hp in the temple of the ancients, and in the Jenova battle. :P
