Vin Diesel starring in Hitman movie, possibly game

u know Lex from Smallville, he seems more of a 47 type guy but he might be a bit short for the role. But vinnie is ok i guess.

ive never got round to playing Hitman but Lex does seem closer (looks wise) but Vin looks cooler and is cooler, he is also more famous and a lot better overall

yea, that's my point. hollywood is gonna mess it up. if they actually followed the story of the game, i'd be surprised. but i doubt it. it's gonna be a big action movie.

well if the universe has asense of irony, the only good game based on a movie in my opinion was chronicles of riddick, now if vin deisel is some avatar for the celestial being of good fortune this game might have some style, but so far the great movies for video games count is 0KnowledgeOrCred

Well this topic seems to be going off somewhere else, but I'd just like to ask if I'm the only actual "Hitman" series fan. I can accept the fact that the movie would probably be a flop no matter who stars in it (it seems to go that way for most "game to movie" projects). But Vin Diesel becoming the new 47 for upcoming games??? I just think that would really change the series a lot, and in my opinion, for the worse. The series isn't supposed to be about intense action, and it seems that is what Vin Diesel is good at and what he will stick to. I just thought I'd bring up this point to anyone else who has enjoyed the Hitman series and has thought about these changes that may occur. It seemed the series was really growing and improving, but now...I dunno.:?

I'm pretty iffy on the subject of Vin playing the part of Agent 47, I think Jason Stathom (The Transporter, Cellular) fits the role alot better. But thats just my opinion.
