The Final Fantasy series introduced airships in the world of RPGs. There are quite a number of them starting from the very first FF. Which one is the best for you?

Can't make it into a poll 'coz there are so many great FF airships. It's unfair to categorize the rest as "others".
Anyway, The Highwind has some nice features like varying dialogues on board the airship at different parts of the game, there's a chocobo stable, you can heal, arrange your parties, save. Really great. Just like the Invincible is FF3.
The Lunar Whale, It has to be summoned from the bottom of the ocean, plus it can fly to the frickin moon! Oh yea, it has a fat chocobo inside that stores all of your junk, but most of all it can go to the moon!Headbanger88My memory just doesnt work that well. I just finished FFIV not so long ago and forgot all about the Lunar Whale. Ha! Then my new choices are: LunarWhale Ragnarok

Yeah, i'd have to say the Highwind is the best, followed by Invicible. i like that Invincible has shops and a Moogle on it, but it cant replace the Highwind cuz, as said before, it can fly horizontally. and backwards. and make sudden stops w/o any trouble. plus, theres the save point and PHS from the fat guy, and a chocobo stable for transport of my Rainbow Chocobo [[hahaha]].
That´s shame that you get Ragnarok so late in the game.
Anyways mine:
1: Highwind
2: Ragnarok
3: Invincible
The highwind didn't show much impression in advent children though, and the most noted cut scenes were throughout the ending phase of the movie. Lol! I guess the scenes were too much concentrated on the bahamut and sephiroth battles! :)frostbourneWell, it wasn't the Highwind in Advent Children. It was the Highwind Alpha. If you look at the two from game to movie, you will find differences, but if you compare the ship from the movie to the gummi ship, Highwind Alpha, from Kingdom Hearts II, they're the same.

Yes! :) I have to agree with you on thag one. The gummi ship's of similar design as when I checked my game file yesterday.
What a loser! He builds a plain, a rocket, and airship, but he can't even build a new one...All he was every good for was cussing and nearly killing his wife...And giving you crappy hints on getting that stupid materia... Anyway, thanks for the information!
Wrong! Actually the airship in Advent and Dirge was the Sierra. Cid found it(not built it) sometime between VII and Advent Children.
