Some FF games have a job system, im just curious of what people think is the best job to have in the game, what job would you all pick for your main character?
woo! dragoons, forgot about them! they were always brilliant, i had one in FF3 and he was really useful up until the last boss when he seemed to lose all effectiveness...still!, was great up until that point.

I love Dragoons too, I was a dragoon in Final Fantasy XI and I love it. But the first expasion made them pretty much useless after level 50. So I had to go with a different class :(

That seems to be the way with dragoons don't it! Good up until a certain point then rendered completely useless! =/ i think the job system should be put into more FF games.
I would love to be a dark knight, but since everyone is pickinhg it nowadadys, I think I'll go ahead and try being a schooler. It's a new and interesting job and also fits my profession at the moment. :P
Magical mages are the true colors of the game. Whether they play support or cast the battle ending spell that ends battles (ultima or holy), they should never be underestimated in battle.
In a way, you could say that the mages are the main characters, and every other class is a support class. Fox-sama
I'd say that the main character would just be your typical physical damage dealer. I find they are by far the most effective and most of the main characters from FF seem to be like this. i mean mages add the fantasy to the games but id say they are support to physical attackers.
