What Will Happen After You Get Final Fantasy XIII?

I do not know if this is a suitable topic, but I have to know.

I am going to play that thing all day and night. And I swear to you Union, I will tattoo the barcode to my wrist.

I'll have to divide my time between FFXIII, Pokemon HeartGold, and Heavy Rain.

Damn so many good games and such little time to play them. :x

I do not even know if I am getting Final Fantasy XIII. IT looks like it will be as linear as Final Fantasy X was, and it is another Tetsuya Nomura game. They give him way too much creative freedom. There has been one game that I have played from him that I wouldn't describe as average at best. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

Final Fantasy VII - the most overrated game of all time. It is no where near as good as everyone says it is. It has problems that people just flat out will not even recognize

Final Fantasy VIII - I do not like this game. IT is tedious I think, and enemies level with you. When I am a level 90 badass, I want to FEEL like a level 90 badass

Final Fantasy X - Auron, Wakka, Yuna and Khimari were cool. Rikku,  Tidus and Lulu sucked. The gameplay was decent, but it was linear with no exploration. The final boss was a joke. Story wasn't bad though

Final Fantasy X-2 - I never thought someone could actually create such a paradox, but Square Enix managed to do so with this game. IT is the single most linear non linear game that I have ever played. There are tons of missions. You can do them in any order that you want, but they are all point a to point b. Way too many mini games. The story takes 16 hours just to get up. The soundtrack is terrible JPop (That is a redundant statement). Yuna was turned into another Rikku and Brother was a male version of Rikku. The dialog traverses new territory for the series by being face palming bad

Kingdom Hearts - This game has a tendancy to take extended breaks from the main story line. You get a whole bunch of story for the first few hours of hte game and then nothing for something like the next 16. You get a bit in the middle and nothing for another 10 or so and a bunch of story at the end. IT is the worst paced story that I have ever played through. The gameplay is button mashing. There is no co op even though a game like this screams for it. Donald and Goofy's AIs are terrible. The game is inexplicably easy. Summonsand magic are useless. There is no depth. There aren't the traditional wealth of items you get in every other action RPG known to man.

Kingdom Hearts II - The pacing on the story still sucks. It is still button mashy. There is still no co op. The battle system still lacks depth. Summons and every spell that isnt heal are still useless. The game is even easier than the first one. You know what? Every single thing that sucked about KH1 still sucks about KH2 with cringe worthy dialog added in for good measure

Haha, it's easy to answer this one since it happens everytime I get a new FF in my hands;

My social life turns to zero for at least two weeks :P

When I get FFXIII, I will play it a couple of minutes go "meh" and then go back to ME2.

OR

I will get a couple of glasses of Coffee, a couple of bottles of coke, some fries, maybe some food, then insert the disc, then with all the hesitation necessary (and that's a LOT of hesitation) I will gaze at the Screen that says Final Fantasy XIII and will be amazed that it is in English, I will finally start and watch the opening scene a little bit (until My Hands starts burning my eardrums) then select new game and settle down, I will not be going outside of my house for at least another 3 days.

For the record. Final Fantasy XII? Loved it.

I dont have enough room to tatoo anymore barcodes to my wrist because I already have; Heavy Rain, Mass Effect 2, Modern Warfare 2, Oblivion, Diablo, and MGS4 taking up all the room.

*looks around* valereth-1 you just ripped Square-Enix a new 1. But Final Fantasy X, VII and Kingdom Hearts 2 (though a bit childish from my usual tastes) are some of my favourite games. The magic including heal was necessary in certain cases. Button bashing really only lead to being beaten when you felt like a challenge on the most difficult difficulty. But like FG said, i respect your own personal opinion. FG you have ages to go lol. Not including the free downloadable short quest for the collectors edition. Good luck FG lol.ffxjunky06
