Wings-Angeel, Sephiroth, Genesis, and Cloud-What does it all mean?

-Ok, so we know these guys all have one wings

Sephiroth we see has a wing in Advent Children and in the Ending of FFVII

Angeel has one from this game

Genesis has one from Dirge of Cerberus

and Cloud has one from Kingdom Hearts

what does it all mean, any ideas you all?

I just want to know why only Sephiroth has a kick-ass one-winged angel theme song, while the others didn't. :|

I'm fairly sure it has something to do with the Jenova/G experiments.

Cloud doesn't have one normally outside of Kingdom Hearts though.

Right, the only reason they gave Cloud one is to make him and Sephiroth symbols of light and darkness in KH.

Angeal and Genesis received their wings due to the G Project. The G Project was the first attempt to create a living Cetra. At the time Professor Hollander wanted to beat Hojo(or even Gast) to the punch with the project in hopes of receiving control over the Science Department. But it was a fail experiment, yet Hollander says Angeal was the only success out of Project G(...supposedly..).

Sephiroth is the true success. Hojo pretty much overshadowed Hollander with the Jenova Project and the birth of Sephiroth. Now the Jenova Project might not have given Sephiroth a wing. In my opinion it's a personal taste for him; probably influenced by his past memories with Angeal and Genesis who had more impact on him as a SOLDIER then anyone else.

this is a pretty dark topic but i can see

s far as sephiroth goes, sephiroth means the tree of life, a tree that once grew during the time of adam and eve, it is said that the tree will grow back during the appolpise. Genesis means the begining. i dont know what a one winged angel actually is i think its a angel of death. EmperorZeruel

i can see that being right. sepphys mission is to destroy the planet - apocalypse- and then start the planet again - tree of life- good observations but i still hate sephiroth. he killed aeris and made cloud go insane
