Ah yes, Penance. He was so damn hard (when not using the yojimbo method, Onikage 123 :P). So hard, in-fact, that I completely broke one of my controllers and made the other one constantly rattle when I move it. It's like the rattle of a beanie toy or something...and its all down to that damn Penance! :oops::evil::oops:
penance was superhard!! i spent a whole week trying to beat him. i didnt want to use yojimbo cos' i knew i would be taking the easy way out.lord-of-impulse
took me also a long time to beat him.i need to max out all of there stats and my hp as well. also the ultimate weapons is a must have on that battle.
Nah i took the easy way put with penance :D i didnt find omega weapon hard at all!!!! i did find ultima weapon in FF8 harder than omega weapon in FF8 strangely enough i think i mustve took him on when i wasnt tough enough...i still beat him eventually!
Ruby Weapon was by far my hardest boss. He has the same strength as Emerald, the same HPs but with an added bonus. He can suck one, two or all three of your fighter into quicksand. Basically he'll leave you to fight him with just one of your players. Another handicap is the fact that you can't use Knights of the Round because that's will trigger the quicksand in an instant. It takes steady work and the best strategy to bring him down. I love the challenge but I really can't wait to see how this boss is improved when they recreate Final Fantasy VII. I can't wait.

i'm endecided on most enjoyable, but sadly the boss in 7 i had the most trouble with was the wall boss in the temple of the ancients cause i was underleveled alot and speedin through the game.
as for emerald and ruby. i think i got lucky. i beat emerald the first time, and it took me 3 times to beat ruby. of course by this time i had already learned my lesson from before and was totally powergaming. think i was round lv 90 with final attack and pheonix maxed out.
I think i may have overprepared with Omega weapon as i beat him 1st time in about 20 mins...which was fairly long but with a few hero drinks and eden hes a....cooked cat....

I'v beat omega weapon in the second time , when I'v use hero drink , take about 10 m .
My favorite hard boss would have to be Ozma from Final Fantasy IX. At first, I didn't think I could ever get to him, but after doing the chocobo hot/cold game (very fun) I finally made it to the Chocobo Air Grave. Then I thought I couldn't beat him, but on my fourth try, which was a hard-faught battle to the end, I came out on top.
an info i found is that Ozma's name is one of the seti's (search for extra-terrestrial intelligence) project. Perhaps thats the best reason why Ozma's appearance is like a planet.
hmm... there are a few hard bosses in the FF games.. but my favourite hard boss to fight against is.. hmm, probably the sand weapon thing in FF7 OR Omega Weapon in FF8
the hardest boss i ever fought was probably dark yojimbo because u have to fight him like 4 times, and that angra mayu thing from x-2 was hard until i got cat nip.
