I dug this out and played it again for the first time in a long while and I remember now why it's one of my favorite old generation RPG's. The storyline is really epic, calling into question ethics and religion, and the art and animation are superb. I'm sure most people have already come to appreciate this game either on SNES or GBA, but those who haven't yet should really look into it.

I probably haven't played this in ten years, but from what I remember it was pretty good. I didn't like a lot of the tedious quests (hunting for the ingredients for the frog people, killing all the enemys inside of the princess, ect.) I also wish finding all the shamans and recruiting people for your town had been less confusing.
But it did have a good story, good graphics and artwork, and good music.

Is it worth getting for GBA if you already own the SNES version?

I agree there were some tedious quests, but that's a constant of the RPG genre. As far as buying it for GBA, it's nice to have it on the go, there's some new artwork and what not. I wouldn't say it's necessary, but again, it's good to have in your pocket if you have some time to burn.

It's one of my favorite GBA games. The only thing I didn't like about it was having to train for Infinity. It's kinda annoying when you can blaze through the whole game without doing any additional leveling, except for the end.

Haha yeah, it's definetely necessary to take some time out at the giant island to level before proceeding. Shaman fusions help as well, especially if you're using Katt.
