Yeah, I want to get a handheld final fantasy that has an amazing storyline. IMO the storyline in FFX was amazing, so just keep that in mind. Also I already have FF3 for the DS.
In my opinion it did. The only reason I said that is if there were any games on the GBA that compared to that story, and someone thought it crappy, I wanted people to know I thought it was good, so they could adjust their recomendation accordingly
Definatly Final Fantasy VI, it wasn't the same old save the crystal crap, but had an unusually deep story with every nook and cranny of the chars personalities explored, plus its much longer, quirky and enjoyable than the others, and has many slight differances in the ending depending on how you played. When compared to the others in plot, its the masterpeice.
Final Fantasy VI took risks compared to the others in the series. It had a great story. But Final Fantasy IV had an excellent story as well. Final Fantasy V focused on gameplay more than story. Final Fantasy I&II: Dawn of Souls don't even have stories worth mentioning.
In my opinion, the greatest story of all these is Final Fantasy VI, with Final Fantasy IV coming in at a close second.
I justt got FFVI yesterday, and I remebered what a great time I had with this game on previous times I had played it. Is there new content for this version of the game?
I believe 6 was prepearing us for future Final Fantasy games. Stories that have depth to them. Characters that we would care about and awesome game play
If you enjoyed the FFX story, you'll enjoy FFVI, definitely. In my mind, the pinnacle story of all the main line FF games. So much depth, and best of all, in this version the script has been tweaked just enough so that the translation is better than before, but the same point is portrayed.

FFVI was released as "FFIII" on the SNES, as it was only the third Final Fantasy to be released in the U.S. Remember a few games in the series didn't make it to the U.S. Initially, "FFVI" is it's true name.
