^ You cant really say that because a system has no new (or, atleast, good) games, that its dead. The Atari 2600 is dead. The NES, however, isn't.
The only way a system dies is if it had no good, memorable games. If the system is notorius for horrible games, and can truely be forgotten, then it dies. Back to what I said earlier, the Atari 2600 stinks (the ET game, need I say more?), while, the NES had great games (Metroid, Zelda, Mario... Need I say more?).
The GBA has had both its fair share of good games, and, its fair share of games that were bad, due to the fact that its easier to make games for (or, so it seems. Not being a game developer, I dont really know). The good games get a lot more attention then the bad, and, because so, the GBA will live on forever. I bet, 500 years from now, people will be finding ancient, yet still functioning GBA carts and play them on ancient GBAs or something. Let the people from 500 years from now decide. :P
