Chrono Trigger is one of the best games ive ever played and if it hit for GBA as chrono trigger advance it would sell out fast and be a rare gem in the future i know alot of people that want this..
It would be better suited for the DS, because you need the 4 face buttons. Either that or the VC, but I need a non-playstation version because I can't stand those loadtimes. Â
Your not alone. Im am also hoping for it tho I have not play that game before but people say it was good.

Our parent company, SQUARE ENIX Co., Ltd. of Japan, has no current plans to re-release Chrono Trigger at this time. This is not to say that it will never happen, it's just that SQUARE ENIX of Japan is currently focusing on numerous other projects.
Let hope that after their project they will realease Chrono Trigger Advance.
Maybe when Square finishes their Final Fantasy XIII Project , they might start this:D.I would still say port it for GBA.But the battle system of Chrono..I would say it will be better with DS
Yeah... you're definately not the only one... I've also tried to contact Square-Enix about this.. Square-enix is releasing all of their 2D final fantasies on the GBA so why not any of their other great 2D rpgs?
Chrono Trigger would be bomb to have on the GBA for road trips and what not. But Besides Chrono Trigger, they should also release Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore! those are also classics! I don't see why they don't release them...They would definately sell.
I guess If they don't release Chrono Trigger by the end of the year, they probably wont release it at all..Cuz in 2008 i'm guessing there wont be too many games coming out for the GBA except maybe some pokemon games and stuff like that.
Dude, you are not alone :D (i know everyone else started with this line as well) ChronoTrigger was the best RPG in the Snes ans releasing it in GBA would be something Square-Enix should have done a LOOOOOOONG time back. I have no idea why they concentrate so much on re-releasing FF titles in GBA, not that FF is bad or anything. But Chorno is way better. What Square-Enix is gonna get in the end is a really big, angry mob (with torches and preferably pitchforks :P) surrounding their Main Development Office, shouting "WE WILL, WE WILL; ROCK YOU!" *sorry* ...........................ehm "WHAT DO WE WANT? CHRONO!!! WHEN DO WE WANT IT? NOW!!!"

Omg, lol, maybe they just waiting for make it for the last game on the GBA, think about the sucess it will make? the last game of GBA none or more than CHRONO TRIGGER, it will fly from the shops, :P, but i prefer they launch it on DS, so they could even put some improvements, how about a CHRONO TRIGGER V2 eh? lol, Maybe they even launch CHRONO CROSS on ds, if its possible.

I wouldn't mind a ds chrono trigger remake, as long as they don't kill it. I'd be happy with a gba one too, I suppose, since I kinda just want to play it anywhere I want to, ha ha....
they really need to make a remake of chrono trigger it will sell alot of copies and maby they could add some extra things in the remake.... it is one of the best RPG i have ever played.

True dat, the playstation version blew @$$ because of those load times. And yes, CT would be better suited for the DS because of the face buttons. Also, the graphics would look that much better on a DS.
