Nice pick indeed... you got 2 of the games and/or series that i was thinking about... if you want to buy a Castlevania game, i would recommend Aria of Sorrow, is lots of fun and, for me, the best Castlevania for GBA... if you want a different concept of RPG, besides Riviera: The Promised Land, i would say you could pick up Yggdra Union... well, i guess that's what comes to mind right now... you'll see that, when you get many answers, people will differ in their opinions, for sure... take a look into what you really like also, don't follow people's advices lightly... not even mine...

Some games that I like that you may are:

Fire Emblem: SS
Advance Wars 2
Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past  (I actually liked the GBC ones better though, but this is still great)

if you want to buy a Castlevania game, i would recommend Aria of Sorrow Meelkud

Best Castlevania on GBA. Amazingly good game, I recommend you pick this one up first (or at least very soon).

Most people will tell you pokemon, but i recommend Advanced Wars over that. You might not be into strategy games, but neither am  i and i have wasted so many hours playing this game.

Fire Emblem 8: Sacred Stones is the easiest Fire Emblem game ever made. T_T And it's more strategy than RPG so I wouldn't personally recommend you a Fire Emblem game (I would suggest you look into them though). Golden Sun was a very well received RPG. Zelda: The Minish Cap is a great action/adventure game, as is Link to the Past. :) I've not played a Castlevania game so I can't really comment on it Have you thought about buying used games? The price differences can make a significant difference if you are lucky in where you shop.

Since you've already read the recommendations thread, I can only give you recommendations from my own collection.

Metal Slug Advance

Metroid Fusion/Metroid Zero Mission/Surge Hive

Medal of Honor Infiltrator (don't confuse this with 'MOH Underground title', it's rubbish)

Street Fighter II Revival

Duke Nukem Advance

Sonic Advance (I've got the double pack with Chu Chu Rocket)

Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance (you should get the Castlevania double pack which contains HOD and Aria of Sorrow games)

Two of my personal favourites for the Game Boy Advance are Mario Kart Super Circuit and Mario Golf: Advance Tour. Even if you aren't a fan of those types of games, I really recommend them if you're looking for good GBA games! And since Super Circuit is now a Player's Choice game, you should be able to find it for a good price!:)
