See topic...

My local EB just got a surplus of Mega Man Zero 4 games. I am a long time fan of mega man II for the NES and I've heard good things about the "Zero" series. Usually these games are hard to find though, so I'm asking if it's worth getting a copy?

Oh man...

I've been recently been on a hunt to get all the MMZ games. In my opinion, this is THE best modern Megaman series to date. Most of my opinion is shaped by the fact that the Megaman Zero series was everything I've been looking for in a MM game, and it realizes Inafune's original vision to put the red hero on the spotlight. It is also hard, and your mission performance is graded. Which is a good thing, since fewer and fewer games challenge players outright these days.

However, just keep in mind, that you are getting the last game in the series. This is the ending, and all the MMZ games fluidly follow an arc. Most of what you will miss is about what really happened to X (Megaman) and how Zero got here, which, I think is important if you care about the plot. It undoubtedly is the Megaman with the darkest story.

I know I'm just hyping this up, but I enjoyed very much. So, YES. Get it. I highly recommend it. And the others as well if you can.

Well it was a good game while playing it, but just to warn you that it is a short game, but had tons of fun upgrades and such to defeat many bosses.

Fun game overall.

Thanks for all the info... I really want the others too, but they're so hard to find. It must mean they're good! But I think this one may be my last GBA purchase... (single tear):(

Mega Man Zero 4 is a nice game, but I liked MMZ3 better.
