Metroid Fusion help(picture included)

I need some major help here. I have been stuck here for months now not knowing what to do or where to go, and yes, I have looked at faqs, but I have not found any that tell me what to do here! Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!ice_radon

Thats not where you go.

You have to go around teh otehr way where you have to shoot up in the ceiling (Go right to the left of the whole map and break the wall to the left) in a corridor and go up that way. Youll see teh skeleton of the snake thingo, whatever its called and some eerire music will play.
