i played the second one, and the last one. i loved the second one to death, and i played the 6th cause i didnt want to play through 4 more games to get to the end.
if your new to the franchise i say go for it. but if you plan on playing through all 6 you wont have fun with it, cause itll get repetitive after 5 games
I think it would be a bit of a chore to beat all 6. I would go for beating all 6 if they had some DotHack-like function that let you put all of your old chips onto your new game and by 6, you'd have some strong ass chips!
I liked them, and I hear that there is a new Megaman Battle Network for DS coming soon. I own all the battle Networks ( Not all the versions ) and i like them all. I also have Megaman BN5 for the DS. ( And I have it for the GBA too )
I really liked number 6, I only had 1 problem with it though, when I beat the game I kept running into sp versions of navis colonel sp blastman sp the clown one and others... really annoying other than that the game is great
MMBN is cool, but if you're not a fan of the series just play the 2, 3, 5, and maybe 6, if you play all the games its have a huge change of you getting bored with them, but they are cool games.
About Duo... hmmm i don't remember much since its has been a while since i played the MMBN 4, but i remember a hint or two, take out all your bomb-type chips of your folder, swords only use to do the sword combo (and you have a good chance to miss), only put gun/shooting type chips.
I really like the MMBN series. I'd recommend buying 1,2, than jump to MMBN5 and finally get MMBN 6: Gregar and Falzar. The beast out mode is an interesting feature for the game.
DUO its easy only put invis chips in your folder ( make sure they are * coded) and to avoid the lasser attack go to the back of the stage at the 3rd row and then the laser "pulses" will go in this order: middle, last, front , middle) something like that simple find the sequence and move to the squares the laser will not hit
