Should tell you in The Lost Age's manual or the GameFAQs page here, but I believe it's R, Left, and B. That will bring up the Transfer option in the first game's main menu, then you can either send the data over using 2 GBAs and a link cable (reccomended) or entering a password that they give you (long).

Ummm... you really don't want to use the code to transfer your data. I think you have 3 versions of the code, but only the gold one is worth while. The problem is, it's HUGE. And one mistake means you'll have to start all over again inputting it. Link two GBAs or don't bother. Actually, unless you have all Djinns in GS and plan to get all of them in GSTLA, don't bother. The party you get will do fine.

SoulSlayer is right, the Gold code is enormous. If I remember correctly, it takes up six pages(in game, not writing paper pages) and if you make a mistake you must comb through the entire thing to find it. The only reason I did it is because I have a GBA anda DS. I had the GS1 code displayed on the Gameboy and input it into GS2 on the DS at the same time:). It saved me a lot of time.

i still have my link cable, but since i've got the same circumstances as Ellimist, if I were to play GS2 again, i'd probably use his process. smart thinking!
