Hi all -

I'm a dad with 3 gameboy age kids, which means we've got about 17 gameboys of various styles around here and what seems to be thousands of games. Is there a good way to store the game cartridges? I thought that for sure someone would market a binder or case that had slots for storage of dozens of game cartridges (I'm thinking of something like a 40 CD holder for your car - but for gameboy cartridges). Unfortunately, I've found plenty of carriers that have space for the GB Advance or DS, with a pocket for a bunch of loose games. However, everytime we go on a car ride, one of the little ones invariably drops the case and games go flying all over the car.

Can anyone help me out on this with any suggestions?

Thanks!

So you're looking for more of a folder or like photo album type case rather than a bag? Are you in the States? I've had a quick look on ebay, they've got cases and stuff there, but nothing really that, I think, you're looking for.

Actually, make one yourself IS a good idea. Go to your local Academy or Sports and Outdoors type store. In the fishing section they have loads of clear plastic tackle boxes of varying sizes and adjustable carrying spaces. They also make some with individual seal compartments, so they won't get mixed up, and sturdy clasp lock latches. That's what I use to keep all of the cartridges/portables I'm not currently playing very much.

nintendo has officially licenced GBA cart holders. they dont sell them on their website but they are in stores... you get 3 plastic holders that hold 3 games each for 5 dollars. GBA games only though, not DS. though... you could try it

The only thing is that it would get expensive, depending on the number of games we're talking.

I think Nintendo doesn't make large storage/carrying cases on purpose, they want you to lose your games and have to buy them again. :( The tackle box idea would probably be your best option.
