Definitely Fire Emblem. Great storyline, impressive length, great characters, even stunning music for a GBA game. It's everything an RPG needs to be.
My favorites are... Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI Golden Sun I and II Fire Emblem (7) Lunar Legend (though it really isn't one of the best on the GBA, I still enjoyed it) But really, the GBA has a HUGE selection of RPGs to choose from. There's a whole boatload of quality RPGs that I didn't mention.
Golden Sun & Golden Sun: The Lost Age absolutely CANNOT be missed. They are truly uncredible RPGs that you will not forget (and although FF:VI is great, it will definitely be remade again and again until we all die. Golden Sun may not ever leave the GBA...)
specially 2 if you own 1, 1 has a bit better storyline but 2 has SO much more to do like the boat and the special dungeon if u set over your djinn's for that ultimate summon... damm that was a boss fight :D
To above poster: GS will not leave GBA i think, but I'm still hoping they complete the trilogy they promised once... only reason im keeping my GBA really
There have been a TON of great RPGs for the GBA... but my favorites are (Not in any particular order): -Riveria: The Promised Land-Summon Night Swordcraft Story 2-Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone-Pokemon Leaf Green-Final Fantasy IV and VI-Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones-Super Robot Taisen 2: Original Generation I know its a lot, but I just REALLY enjoyed all of them.
