You may find Pokemon Crystal at Amazon or Ebay. I think Pokemon Colossum's main character is male with female partner. I own it but I do not play it yet.
to answer ur guestion...idk but i wouldn't recommend getting that, I mean y not the newer ones? im playing it right now but i just disappointinggly found out i can't trade with Ruby/Sapphire which means i cant get the pkmn ive been training to battle on wi-fi (Diamond/Pearl)
It's an old game now, so your sure to find it somewhere for a very reasonable price. Just make sure you have a GB or GBAÂ and not a DS before you buy it ... the DS does not like the older games
