well i personally think Tales of Symphonia had some of the best gameplay in the whole generation. The graphics were great too.vision7
kind of funny seeing a list of "gamecube games with good graphics"Cajones_Del_Maryou do realize the cube was twice as powerful as the pos2 right.
Resident Evil 4 tops the list, no other game in the Cube's library will hit every single graphical mark like RE4 did.except the horrible textures and jaggies.
Zelda comes in second.
Starfox is a great looking game.
I'd have to throw Super Mario Sunshine and Mario Tennis in there too.

I rekon the GC could've gone a littel further, you can tell from some of the blurry ground and wall textures, especially around the village area.

thats a nice list but adding multiplatform games that on the GC originally makes it kind of redundant.Resident Evil 4 is definitely the best graphic gamecube game. The textures are also not bad if you compare them to the PS2 version. It is considerably sharper and better looking with an S-video cable if you have one.Nathaniel14
Just got Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 and found it be a very nice looking game and that got me thinking about the best looking games on the Cube and led me to this threat. So here's my list in no particular order besides alphabetical...

Metroid Prime did, take a look at IGN's list sometime, #1 is Prime, #2 is RE4.

That's terrific, IGN is wrong.
Metroid had great graphics but RE4 is better. The only reason some people give the nod to Metroid is because the graphics are sharper. Overall it's a weaker looking game compared to RE4 but it's clean.
RE4 was made with a certain artistic st-y-le Most of the problems many have with the graphics aren't problems at all but how the makers wanted the game to look like. It's supposed to look like a grainy old film that brings you into that world. The devs looked at what they could do and built a specific art st-y-le around it.
(for some reason it's editing st-y-le)

Thats your opinion, nothing more, I think IGN got it right. If anything should have been placed above Prime, its Prime 2 IMO.
IMO the art direction in Metroid Prime is much better than that in RE4, and it also runs smoothly at 60 FPS :).
