1) I was thinking about buying a gamecube from ebay but i was wondering, how much does a gamecube normally cost?
2) Do you have to HAVE a memory card to save?
3) Does anyone know if gamestop sells cords to systems?
1. You can get a refurbished Gamecube from EBgames for 60 bucks, which honestly isn't a bad deal, a surprise coming from that place. You probably won't find one for much less than that, and at least you can buy a year warranty which I would suggest, small investment really. 2. Yes you do need a memory card to save, don't worry one will last you awhile. 3. Depending on the gamestop, they do sell a variety of chords and cables, what are you looking for? The gamecube should come with everything you need.1) I was thinking about buying a gamecube from ebay but i was wondering, how much does a gamecube normally cost?

Yeah, GameStop's deal is a pretty good one, all things considered. If you're buying a GameCube on eBay, don't buy the console by itself for more than $35 (w/shipping). If it comes with a controller/memory card/game, it's okay to go up to $40-45 (w/shipping). As far as memory cards, try to get one of the white Nintendo-brand ones, they are completely awesome.
Dude, the guys telling you that you got a good deal are insane. Simply put man, you got jobbed, hosed, and taken to the bank.
Paying $30 for a system without a controller or memcard is okay....but without the proper cords!? First off, the fact that the guy didn't have a controller or the proper cords to sell with the system would throw up a red flag in my mind as to the quality of the unit and how well it was taken care of. Secondly, by the time you fork over the $$ for the cords, you're into the thing for the same money as you could have spent locally to get a half decent AND COMPLETE system. Thirdly, why take $50ish chance on a used system, locally or on ebay, when you can get a brand new one for under $100 that is gauranteed to be in mint shape...and have the cords.
Hopefully the unit works out for you, but why go through the hassel of bidding, shipping, getting an incomplete unit, having to track down spare cords and all that just to save $20 (on a pre-owned complete system) or $50 (on a brand new unit)
