to save games? Since am gonna buy one I wanted to know if I would need to also buya memory card or it had a harddrive to save it internally.

Yes it does. You can get many different kinds of them with some having larger save files than others.

I went Gamestop stores, few weeks ago. They still have several Gamecube memory cards (both used and new, and Nyko).

I can tell you don't play games.

But yes, you need a memory card.

it holds memorycard. If you plan to buy sport games, or alot of gamesI suggest you get the one that holds more that 1000 blocks if not get the 251 blocks.

That's very true. I bought a Pelican and MadCatz memory cards from GameStop (got them because they were only $2 a piece) and I've had a lot of trouble with them corrupting my data. But it seems they've stopped doing it now.

i know its kinda dumb cuz they made all that space inside there they coulda at least had some kind of internal mem....

because its kinda cheap now, the wii is to expenisve for me right now, and the real reason is I want to play resident evil games on the gamecube had exclusive.

Seconded. If you see a memory card without "Nintendo" on it, don't even think about buying it.

The Gamecube does need a memory card and you should get a Nintendo Memory card cause I bought a 3rd party one and all of my files were corrupted.

Internal memory wasn't really standard in 2001. The fact that the Xbox had a hard drive was a huge surprise to everyone.
