^ has a good idea, if ur gonna dish out $200 might aswell get the wii, but is it really that expensive over there? here in the uk a second hand cube would be like 35pounds which would be like 60 dollars and there are some great games such as Super smash bros melee which in my opinion is still the greatest offline multiplayer ever and the metroid series too. mustaf_nur89
Here a wii is $340. And considering ds games are $60, the wii must be cheaper over there. We always get ripped off in the UK.
what about Eternal Darkness as well.XenoNinjaExcellent game that was ignored by too many people.
I would just go ahead and get a Wii due to backwards compatibility, but the GC does come with a controller if you get it new. You'll still need to get a memory card regardless of the system that you get, though. If you get the Wii, even if you've played RE4 on PS2, it's worth checking out the Wii version due to its discounted price and the fact that it's the true "complete" version.

it's not the complete version, it's just the same as it was on the PS2...Dude, if you can, try and get the RE Remakes, Legend Of Zelda - Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 (if you like first person shooters that is) Super Smash Bros. Melee, Legend Of Zelda - Wind Waker, Star Fox (the adventure game) , Resident Evil 4 (still with all its graphical glory though only second to the Wii version...), MGS Twin Snakes and Eternal Darkness - Sanity's Requiem.
Plenty of good games for the good old 'cube.
Well the wii plays all cube cames and has slots for controllers and memory cards, and the GC controllers WILL work on brawl and RE Wii. So wii would probably be better. But if your looking for something cheap and quick, that would work. Though I think wii saves cube games to hard drive.tylea002Ive course ive thought of the Wii but the Wii is $150 more then a GC plus i need to buy the GC controller which is another $30. So thats $180 more dollars to play GC games... I dislike the Wii controls too and have beaten RE4 about 10 times on the PS2 also. Eternal Darkness is another game im interested in so would 4 games be worth it? :o
Ehh, no console's worth it for only 3 games in my opinion.Funkyhamster
Yeah he may only want 3 games, but im sure when he gets a cube or a wii he'll expand his library. PLus everything is like $10 for used games.

Not everything, SSBM & Mario Kart DD still go for $20 on average. Plus the hard to find ones are not $10(Cubivore, Resident Evil 2 & 3)

A minor tweak, but it's something that wasn't in any of the other versions.[QUOTE="Minishdriveby"]PLus everything is like $10 for used games.supermariomelee
almost everything. SSBM and MKDD is 30 and there are a couple 15 and 20 but theres alot of 10 and 5 dollar games like Metroid prime. Which by the way Carmilla31 is another game totally worth getting.

Why bump a week old topic just to ask for it to be locked for no particular reason? Odd...
