If I would buy a Gamecube, would it be too late? What are the games that makes Gamecube worth buying?

If I were you, I'd buy a Wii since it is compatible with GC's disks and most of GC's accesories-- Just buy GC controllers and a  memory card. I suggest you these GC titles:
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Soul Calibur II
Super Smash Melee
Resident Evil 4
Prince of Persia series
And of course, the Wii version for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. But if you buy the GC instead of the Wii, be sure to get TLOZ:TP for it.
But if you don't want to spend much money, buy a GC with used games and accesories in good state, they're really cheap. GC is a very very resistant console and it will keep working after years and years of use.
Depends. If you want state of the art buy something else. If you want to play some good games, then check it out. You can find many cheap games on eBay or at Gamestop/EB Games.
For the price of a 360/PS3 or Wii, you can buy a Cube and get a crapload of games.
My personal favourites are Super Monkey Ball 2, Timesplitters 2, Spider-Man 2, Pool Paradise, Pinball Hall of Fame and Animal Crossing. Should be able to find all of those for under $20.00.
It's quite the opposite; it's the ideal time to buy. Everything GameCube-related is at about as low a price as it's gonna go, and most titles are still possible to find. Pick one up now, or feel regret later.RoyalsBlue13
Yes, I agree. It's never too late to buy a console that had good games. You can get used Gamecubes for 30 USD now, so that's a good deal. You saw the games that were recommended, I think you won't regret it. And get it now before people who had forgotten about the Cube in the previous generation and now want to get a Wii start realizing what great games there were on the Cube.
Get a Wii and use that to play GC games.luke1889
I'd have to disagree. The Wii isn't as cheap as the Gamecube and only time will tell if it is as stable.
If you want to be able to play Gameboy games, the Gameboy Player is excellent and doesn't work with the Wii.
If you find a cheap Cube, you can always bring along your Cube games if you ever upgrade to a Wii.
Do the math and see how many Cube games you can buy for the price of a Wii - it's a lot.

I must admit that my suggestion probably was based on an unfair assumption that the situation was not restrained by cost. :P I was simply thinking that with a Wii, GC games could indeed be played, but you could also pick up Wii games as well.
If there's no intention of playing Wii games, then yeah, just go for the GC.
And no, it's not too late. :)
