ddr mario mix
its fun, but there arent as many songs and its not as hard as the ps2 versions but its more fun with friends
if you get this, get two dance pads
i got mine in 2005 on the day after thanksgiving sale from circuit city before it was discontinued
i wonder if its the same as the ones now...
I'm in the same boat, so I can have, not a better one, but a really good opinion about games.. I actually got my first, and only, Cube the first of this year.. so I'm new to a lot of Cube games. I only own 16 and haven't really asked any opinions on what to buy.
Anyway, first point.. don't be afraid of Metroid Prime on the Cube. I played the DS title first.. since I got a DS quite a while back, and thought it was a terrible transition from what I was used to Metroid being.. 2D. But I gave Metroid Prime and MP2 a whirl on the Cube, and I can honestly say they are some of the best FPS games out there. The controls, story, atmosphere, exploration, enemies, graphics.. they're all done amazingly well.
It's one of the few series that I can honestly say had a successful 2D to 3D transition, aside from Legend of Zelda.
At any rate, like I said.. I only own 16 games for the Cube, but I've enjoyed them all, so I'll just list what I got as recommendations:
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Mario Sunshine
Luigi's Mansion
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Metroid Prime
MP2: Echoes
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Mario Kart Double Dash!!
Sonic Heroes
The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition
Star Fox Adventures
SF Assault
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
If I had to recommend just a half dozen titles to get you started: LoZ: Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, MGS: TTS, Metroid Prime, SSMB and Paper Mario: TTYD would be it.
Metroid Prime is good though, same with the Resident Evil games.. and I've seen Metroid Prime for only like $4 at EB, so it couldn't hurt to get it..
Other than that get Zelda: Wind Waker, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Sunshine, Pikmin 2..
Thanks for all the suggestions guys and to answer some of the Metriod prime questions i hated it because of the ammount of back tracking and I have read that the other Metriods also have alot of back tracking. If the story really is good i might look into it because games that have good stories I usally like. I acctualy already have Resident Evil 4 on my ps2.blazinpapi8888
Re4 for the cube is better. The controls have a better feel to it.

Congrats on getting the GC! I would recommend Resident Evil 4 but if you got scared playing Metroid Prime Hunters, then I'd say you would probably wet your pants playing RE 4. But there are other great games;
SSBM, Super Mario Sunshine, Zelda WW and TP, Paper Mario, Starfox Adventures and Pikmin 1 and 2.
Why would you want to buy a Gamecube now?!?!? They're not making neither the consoles nor the games for the system anymore. Why didn't you just buy a Wii? I don't get it.TraXxXAcording to your sig you only have a 360 and PS3
