Hey, I just got a gamecube and I am looking for some good multiplayer games. I am really new to the exclusives and such for the gamecube so any help here is appreciated.
If you want multiplayer Super smash bros melee is a must have, mario kart is good too but I prefer smash, Resident evil 4 is almost perfect even if is not a multiplayer but if you can with the content you should buy it I have the game since 2 years ago and never get boring, maybe mario party too, thats some I can remmember right now
I didn't know that Metroid was multiplayer. Are all of them that way or just Echoes? THere is more than one right? Also what is Super Smash Bros. Melee?
Mario Golf was an awesome multiplayer game me and my buddies had a blasty blast plus dont deny your self some solo action on this baby GC has some amazing gems that really shine on this **** like Killer7,Resident Evil 4, MGS: Twin Snakes, Eternal Darkness, both Metroids, and Pikimin 1&2 may seem wack but its really addicting
Thanks for the responses. Looks like I will be trying to find Metroid 2 and Super Smash Bros. Melee. I want to feel out the multiplayer scene first, but I will check out some of the single player stuff. On that topic, aside from RE4 and Metroid, what games should I look at. All I have at the moment is the Legend of zelda collector's disc with some old zelda games and Wind Waker. Are there other RE games? They any good? Thanks again for your help.

Seems like you like Zelda games. So, you should check out Zelda: Twilight Princess.
There are some good multiplayer games like Smash Bros Melee, wave race, f-zero GX, ToS But a game you really shouldn't miss is Metroid prime, own a GC without this great game is almost senseless......
why would u waste your money on a gamecube , y not get a wii
He's already got the GC, so don't bother. And why would he get a GC? Maybe because it's over $150 less than the Wii and has tons of great games (many of which are no more than $20 now), and therefore is worth getting.
Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut and Sonic Adventure 3: Battle are my recomendations for great single player games and with SA2:B you can have some good 2P games 2. I always play SA2:B winner-stays-on when i have friends round my place!

True, I did get the system pretty cheap. Also I figured why spend nearly 300 on the Wii when I could spend far less on the Gamecube and experience great games I haven't played yet. Furthermore, whenever the Wii drops to 39-50 dollars then I can take my GC games and play them on that system. Why so hostile? I asked for game suggestions not consumer critiques. To all who answered my question, Thank you. There appears to be far more games I need to play than I thought.
