If you dont know, Madden 08 is the very last game that will be made for the Gamecube. Its comin out in August i think. And it will be the last Madden game in the seris.
lol last in the series...uhhh no, do you know how much money that game makes? as long as people buy madden there will always be maddenrob1101
Yeah... if they didn't want to make any more Madden games, they could still just update the rosters and sell the same game every year. Oh, wait a minute... :|
The last REAL GameCube game is Baten Kaitos Origins, and I am on the verge of finishing that. And don't say Zelda, because that's not the real version of the game.ZebethOrZebes
but zelda was created for the cube then ported onto the wii :-/
Just because it'll be the last GC game doesn't mean the GC will die after gets released. The system is still produced, various games are still available for it, and they system continues to sell decent. Long live GC. It's great to have you with us for awhile longer.
Unsurprisingly, the topic creator is wrong. Not only is there another GC game in development now, but apparently a contract EA/Nintendo signed years ago that requires EA to release games for the GC (as well as PS2 and Xbox) for a certain amount of time hasn't expired yet. If that's true, then it's likely we'll Madden 09 on the GC. We'll probably see another movie-based game for the GC as well next year, considering the apparent fact that TMNT, Meet the Robinsons, and Ratatouille have sold ok on the GC (I'm assuming the sales of the latter two is the reason Power Rangers: Super Legends is coming to the GC). As long as the games keep coming and the GC system and games continue to be manufactured, the GC will live on. As of right now, the GC continues to live on.
The gamecube still had so much potential, it's sad to see it go the way of the Dreamcast.Djammal86
You can't compare the Sega Dreamcast with the Nintendo Gamecube. The Gamecube has had a decent amount of time around since 2001 whereas the Dreamcast had it's life cut short.
The Dreamcast did far worse than the GC and unlike it, the GC is still going. Therefore, the GC hasn't gone the way of the DC. The fact that the GC is still widely available alone proves this. Plus it's still supported with the continue manufacturing of the system, many of it's games, and most of it's accessories, and it's getting more games. Best not to compare the Dreamcast with the GC.
Long live Nintendo GameCube.
The PS3 might not live long if they don't come up with some new games fast..
Long Live the Nintendo Gamecube!
Its sad to see gamecube go but its worth the trade into wii becuase the wii is amazing.
what's stupid though is that the ps2 (best selling console ever if not including handhelds)is dying and it's being replaced by the seventh gen ps3 which has the lowest sale of the seventh gen consoles, only selling a third of either 360 or wii.
RIP sixth gen consoles.

gamecube is still coming out with one more game called Power Rangers: Super Legends being released 11/06/07.
The Dreamcast and it's games are no longer in stores. GameCube products, however, are still available at virtually every (game) retailer including the system, games, and accessories, and because they're still manufactured it's likely they'll be available for a while to come. And there's a good chance we'll see a few more GC games in 2008, like Madden 09.
The GC lives on.
