Adventure is good if you're a fan of the adventure. However there isn't really any replay value. Assault is okay if you are a fan of the old Starfox's. I would say, get both eventually. :)
Um, nobody's stated this explicitly, so I should probably warn you just in case you don't know - Starfox Adventures is nothing like the other Starfox games... it's still a great game though.

I never played any Starfox game I only play Mario,Zelda,Metroid,Kirby,Yoshi and every other Ninty game except Starfox and F-zero series.I think Adventure is my game cause I love Adventure/Puzzle (Zelda) games:)

Alright, then you'll love Starfox Adventures.
yeah you'll probably like adventures more. I liked assault alot, but it was a faster paced shooting game, which suited me better then all those damn ladders!
