Whenever I turn on my gamecube it makes a distinct sound, let me describe it to you...

It makes one big Click followed by two small clicks, then a "errrrrrr" sound(its not loud like a VCR tape or something), the some light noised tetetetete, like a small repeated beep sound.

How is it looking for my cube? It still works i'm just wondering if this is normal or if it will die out soon.  I have a warranty in which case but i dont' know if its acceptable because of noise only.

Mine has been making that noise for quite a while,(2 years) but I haven't had any problems with the console ever not working or problems with games. Except for Beyond Good and Evil, for some reason the game does not recognize the standard wired GC controllers but does for the Wavebird.

I've never really payed attention to it really. I guess i noticed it when i turned it on before the TV was on and i heard it. Soemtimes the noise lasts longer than other times though.

I just found out well me and fastvipa14 found out that every time I plugged in my controller my gamecube would just shut off. I stop using that controller and used the other one I had. I'm not throwing that thing away.........

I think you should throw the cube away before it explodes.
