Paper Mario : The Thousand Year Door was not only one of the best games I have ever played on the Gamecube, but one of the best games I have ever played ever. Simply magnificent and anyway who believes otherwise should seriously consider thinking about their games more seriously. :D

I didn't like the paper concept, the 3d one was better. I think I just overhyped the n64 paper mario because I thought it was going to be a sequel and didn't realize square wasn't in on it. Paper Marios are still good. Is Super Paper Mario comming to GC or just Wii?
Ah. The memories Paper mario TTYD is easily one of the greatest gcn games or probably one of the greatest games this gen. I would say it could be the best use of mario in a game

I agree. I played that game since i got it on christmas, everday for the next 3 weeks till i beat it 45 hours later. Well thought out and hilarious story brought much life into the game. The battle system was very simplistic, but it kept it enjoyable and rarely frustraiting, but never dull. Amazing game, if not a little underrated for having such a light attitude and face.
I agree. Paper Mario is a sadly underrated game (at least by reviewers, not quite in this thread ;) ), very fun, witty, and addictive game, one of my favorite games for gamecube.
Paper Mario TTYD was the reason I brought a gamecube, and its one of the coolest games ever, and by far for me the best Mario game ever other then Paper Mario 64.
Interesting, looks like I will have to try to get back into Paper Mario again. I actually had a hard time finding it, and it was MONTHS after it came out. When I got it, I played it for like 20 mins, then put it down. Mind you, at that time, I really had no concept of RPG stuff...now I enjoy it...so I def will need to get back into it.
Definatly amazing games. Paper Mario sums up everything I love about nintendo, great humor, great characters, you become part of the game world.Â
I think they should make a Bowser's Castles game, where you can play as Bowser, Wario, Waluigi and stuff, A play as the baddy type game. I think it would be awesome.
Bowser made me laugh the most during Paper Mario, although the side quest where the chick wants to meet Luigi and Mario shows up with the Luigi Badge, and pretends to be him and then he shows up, and she freaks out and calls him an imposter, *sigh* great stuff.
