I remember when i bought the GameCube That day in 2003, May. First game was Luigi's Mansion ( -_-) Unlike others that i know, i kept the console cause i was persistent that they would create a game that would make the gamecube, yet again, a competitive console. i.e Legend of Zelda: Twlight Princess. I own this game and it just feels as if i own something really rare that everyone wants. I also own a PS2 but like no games have that much of an effect on me other than nintendo games. If the gamecube is dying though i feel it died in a big bang as even now people are still searching shops to find this game. I want to know who else is proud of keeping their faithful purple (or black or any other) lunchbox?

I'm proud of my Gamecube. There are some great games out there for it, and I definitely do NOT regret buying it.

I love my Gamecube (black), I got mine off of a friend who didn't want it any more. I got it for a $100 with two memory cards, 5 games, and 2 controllers with ext cables.

i am also very proud being a gamecube owner. i love my platinum gamecube, and all the games for it. the gamecube may not of had that much 3rd party support (even when i bought it which was only a year and a couple of months ago i knew it was in trouble) but i still love it alot, and besides if i want third party support thats what my PS2 is for.

Enjoy the quality of game when a developer gives the cube the time it deserves. Have the two Microsoft products with the goodies, but amazed at some of the games from the little box, and still go back to have fun.

i love my gamecube(black). i have had it for nearly 2 years now and i love it. my first game was mario sunshine and i was glued to the screen for days on end. the next game i got was wind waker and that was an awsome game. i thought that wind waker and mario sunshine had a better gameplay than halo 2.ill never regret buying one

my favourite Console this/last Gen, i have like more games than the PS2 and the GBA combined, what a console it was.

i was tad bit dissaponted that Super papre Mario and Donkey Konga: blast (something, i forgot), isn't stated for teh Cube anymore, damn you Wii.

I am not proud. I bought a gamecube cuz I always followed Nintendo, But it felt to me like they alsmot abandonned it way to soon to work on DS and Wii. Plus, there is no halo

I only bought a GameCube a little less than 1,5 year ago. My main reason was Zelda TP. I almost bought one before for Tales of Symphonia but then I saw there was also a PS2 version so I was hoping that got an English release (I didn't know Nintendo did the localisation yet). Can't really say I'm proud of owning it but there isn't any other console I'm proud to own either. It's a great console with some great games and I'll probably never sell it. But that's only cuz I have a Gameboy Player for it. Else I would've just gotten rid of it as soon as I got a Wii.

with no real intentions of getting a Wii, I'll still keep and enjoy my Gamecube. Then again, I'm not really a console freak that has to keep up seeing as I got the GC way after it released. It has awesome games, IMO.

I still enjoy playing the gamecube even if it is dead. I think that releasing tp for gamecube was a great way to send the last generation console to its grave.

Oh please. Being someone who has 'always followed Nintendo', did you really expect a console of theirs to feature a game like Halo. That's like buying an Xbox and crying because there's no Zelda.

I'm proud of my gc (purple+silver). I had a purple gc since launch, but it broke 3 yrs later, so i bought a silver one. It was definitely my favorite console last/this gen.

I own a xbox ps2 and cube, I have the most fun with my Nintendo. Nintendo has the best adventure games peroid. The cube might not have as many games as the rest but at least the ones it does have are quality. I was so disapointed in Halo2 it isnt even funny. The ps2 for some reason just isnt as fun to me.

I have the same purple GC that I've had since launch, and sadly, I regret buying it. The only games I thoroughly enjoyed for the GC were SSBM and ToS. I didn't even like RE4, the MP games, or even Zelda. I prefer the PS2.

I own a (black) gamecube, i got it when they first launched in the market.  my favorite games were super smash bro's mele, metriod prime 1&2, Resident Evil 4 ,and now i own Zelda TP, i think that that will keep the gamecube heart beating for just a little bit longer. I kept it as long i can remember. But i am having second thoughts, plan to sell it for the wii or something, but i will keep the games......maybe lol

I kept it until I got my Wii.. then I gave it to my sister, so I guess I can get it back whenever I want.. well, not really whenever, since she lives in a different city. But you know what I mean :P
