3 Completely different games. I've only played two of them, but I would say... ALL OF THEM! I can't choose. Get RE4 first though. Unless you're talking about the first one. If you are talking about the first one, then get Zelda.

Whoa! 5 good games? Gc has one of the best libraries there is, you should do some research.
Resident Evil's the one to go for if you can't get all 3 if you can do, if you can 2 get RE & Metroid but leave Zelda last WW wasn't to great I didn't think.

I used to have metroid and LoZ:WW but i sold them with my old gamecube and now i'm gonna buy them again for the wii.
I made that mistake before I only kept my Resident Evil Collection & F-Zero Gx but I'm slowly working my way back up, I actually traded some Wii games for a few GC titles, for me the Wii library just isn't at a 100% yet.
Well, it depends what you look for in a game. RE4 is hella fun and all around great so go for it. Oh yeah, Metroid Prime or Echoes? Echoes was way better than the but if you put it off for awhile it was easy to lose your place in the story line. Zelda on the other hand, is fun if you like that particular genre, I'd say it's too kid-like.
Funny how people totally forget that there's two other RE games on the Cube other than RE4. We all know how great RE4 is, but those of you who slept on the RE1 remake have robbed yourselve's of a damn good game. For me, a priority list between those franchises and their GC titles would be something like RE4, MP1, RE1 remake, and MP2. Imo, the Zelda games have taken a dip since the N64 days. WW and TP are great Zelda quest that lack any sheer challenge, unlike OOT. WW would be dead last on my list...
LOL, these topics always kill me, the games are never even remotely comparable.
You're trying to choose between three games of a vastly different genre. "Resident Evil" is an atmospheric survival horror, "Wind Waker" is a fantasy adventure, and "Metroid Prime" is an action-shooter in first person.
Don't ask us what game to get, ask yourself what genre of game you prefer.
(thats aside from the fact that all 3 of those titles would rank in the NGC Top10, and 90% of the people familiar with those games would more than likely suggest getting all 3)
