You should get it. It's an amazing game. I wouldn't say it will make you scream like a little schoolgirl, but it's a little creepy. With a price of $20, you can't afford not to own it.
yeah, it is a little creepy, and its only made me jump if i forget to kill all the ppl and they sneak up behind me.
but it is without a doubt one of the best games i have ever played, even though ive only put 5 hours into it. in fact, im going to go play it now, and you should buy it now
For even considering not getting it, I seriously want to slap you. great Graphics, Awesome Gameplay, Fun storyline, and too much awesomness for a single game.
Gears of War has to be one of the most over rated games of recent time. Many of the reviews fail to point out that if you don't have the online multy-player aspect up and running, the game is very very short. Every level is a set path with numerous invisible walls, the gameplay (one player) is very repetative and shallow. The Graphics are good but very samey and the last third of the one player game was quite a let down. I played RE 4 for the first time 1 month ago and in my opinion (and this is only my opinion) it is way way ahead in almost every dept, that is as a one player game. I was never fortunate enough to play GoW online so I cannot make a just critisism, but the time I have spent with RE 4 far out-shines my experience with GoW. I must admit I felt the same way with the Halo franchise, it was good but not that good. I think the same with GoW, it is good but not the awesome experience I was led to believe by the many reviews.
Ok so a Wii RE4 version is really coming? Even if it is coming you need to get it! You know control schemes and that stuff will be severaly changed on Wii so maybe you could wait and rent it later!
Resident Evil 4 is one of the most overated games ever made. (Gears of War is the first) RE4 Is awful.Crucifix_Angel
It's like everything : play it and make your own idea. The game is great, but don't get all hyped up, you might end up being disapointed. However, if so many gamers and so many people of the specialized gaming literature think it's good, then it's probably for a reason.
For all that's good and wonderful. Buy it!!! It's great! I wish I could give jorgeluisbl a high five. It is one of the greatest games of all times. Made my top ten list.

do it, i think its the best game i ever played, but i only owned a cube, so thats the best game that i think they have come out with, so my choices of good games are limited. i still think its the best game they made, its only $20 at EB games NEW

if you're 14 and need to go to a game forum for advice about whether or not to game of resident evil 4's caliber, you need help. seriously people quit making these stupid 'should i get re4 threads?' make up your own mind, read reviews, veiw trailers and gameplay footage.
It's not about age. Time was made up by man. You can find out if this game is for you by playing it. And for 20$ it's worth a shot. You're going to have a great time with it. This is one of the best games I've Played in a long time.:D
