That's my short list of games that I would consider "must haves" for the GC.

I would also toss in

Tales of Symphonia

Soul Caliber II (Link is ftw)

Fire Emblem PoR (Even though the GBA games are better)

Super Mario Sunshine

Mario Kart Double Dash!!

res evil 4 showed how good it could look, while metroid showed how well it could do fps, zelda windwaker proved game cube could do a zelda game right, and ssbm showed multiplayer peek, but for the most amazingly creepy game, id say the fact that eternal darkness was exclusive proves that gc wasnt just for kids.

I guess the game that would "define" the GC would be SSBM. I'd also add in Rogue Leader because of the graphical hype that the game got (and deserved) way back in 2000 and when it was released. Also Eternal Darkness and Windwaker for being different.

Unfortunatley for me this is where the list ends and I was left with a useless system. I think I learned my lesson after owning The N64 and Gamecube and I am avoiding the Wii for a long while.

Paper Mario and the thousand year door ( beat once and it took me30 hours,Best RPG on the GC )

Residen Evil 4 ( beat it 5 or 6 times thats all i got to say )

Super Smash Bros. Melee ( do i have to say anything, 200 hours + playing with friends and family )

The legend of zelda twillight princess ( only played 10 hours of it but loved it, only rented it)

Super Mario Sunshine ( havent beat it yet but its awsome )

Metroid Prime ( beat it once in like 20 hours and half way through it on hard, AWSOME)

Metroid Prime 2 : Echoes ( havent played it but mp was awsome )

The Legend of Zelda wind waker ( played like 10 hours of it but its awsome so far )

Hmmm it was a pretty good game, i mean Assault was alright, but I really liked Adventures, despite my friend and i making fun of the last scene constantly.
