What games should I get?

Other games to consider : Resident Evil remake, Tales of Symphonia,  Eternal Darkness, Zelda TP, Baten Kaitos, Fire Emblem, Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart.

Depends on what kind of games you like. I'll give you some good ones for a few genres though.

FPS: Metroid Prime Series

I agree with all of those games. If you can't get all of them I recommed the Zelda games, Metroid Prime, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. 

Meroid Prime, Metal of honor series, soul caliber, there are so many awsome games for gamecube its hard to choos, i bought a wii, but most the time im still playing gamecube games on it(untill ofcourse new games com out later this month)

this guy gave you a good list, and as he said, he left out the sports titles, and i must say, most of the Mario sports titles are also VERY good, (Mario Kart, Mario Baseball, Mario Soccer Strikers, Mario Golf, etc)

Any of the Mario Party games are awesome if you have friends to play with them. (They're pretty boring to play alone though). I have Mario Party 7. That game and Mario Kart are the main games that people play together when they come to my house. Oh, and Smash Brothers of course too.
