What is your meaning: Which game has the better gameplay for single player modus? I know, that FFCC has a great multi-player option, but my friends have only PS 2-consoles and they don't like the GC... So, which game should I give a try?
They're both quality titles, and each have their merrits.
FFCC is gorgeous to look at, is an amazing multiplayer experience, and has some character and item customization, but gets a little stale in single player mode.
BGDA is more of a classic dungeon crawler, its addictive, but the multiplayer is fairly tame. You are forced into 3 fairly obvious character molds.
Personally, I'd go with "Crystal Chronicles" overall.
Normally I prefer Japanese over Western RPGs, but CC is complete garbage. Go with Baldur's Gate.SoulSlayer_It's only garbage if you only played it for like two minitues. If you get to year 5 a story is finally developed with the Dark Knight and Raem and with multiplayer the game is awsome. Not only but the game is a very pretty. And besides it got a 8 here so it's an AA title which means it's a good game.

FFCC's single player gets boring after about 20 minutes. Get Baldur's Gate.
What people aren't telling you is that BG is two players onlyRevelade
then I appologize for my earlier comments. I've played both the PS2 and XBOX versions of Baldurs Gate, and both of those were available for single player.
Are you sure the NGC version of Baldur's Gate is two player only? I'm pretty sure there is a single player mode.
