Ok! I'm struggling ere lol! I'm in the lakebed temple and have just got the big key! the walkthroughs tell me to return to the centre room with the rotating stairs, it also says that i will encounter a scene showing the water rising again, but i have not come across that! i can see that the boss's room is below the stairs but because the water hasn't risen i can't make it there! can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong x

You're using a walkthrough and you're still stuck. Dude. That's why I don't use walkthroughs when i play. Games are much more enjoyable when you don't use them either. Anyway about your dilemma, I'd love to help, but I haven't played that game in months. My only suggestion is try another walkthrough, OR backtrack through the level and try to see if you've missed anything.

that temple is really confusing... its like OOT's water temple. You probably just missed a switch, you should look for another walkthrough. Like, here.

You have forgotten to pull one of the switches that lets the water out. Use some guide to go back and find out which.

pull each switch on the topfloor, center room. with each switch, rotate the stairs so the top of the stairs is next to the switch you just pulled. i say to pull them all b/c i don't know which, if you get it on the first (listen for the zelda chime from the controller speaker) try obviously stop and cont. to the next room :)

I find the best thing to do in those situations is check the map to see anywhere you haven't been. then go to them, THEN backtrack to the point you're stuck on. That way you should find anything you may have missed.

I think so. Basically, you need to either activate both switches in the east and west rooms of the temple, which will flood the main chamber enough for you to swim to the boss door; or you can clawshot up to the chandelier and simply drop down to the platform, but you'll lose about 1 full heart.
